Daily Life
We are a contemplative community in
whose daily life the Monastic rhythm revolves around the Eucharist
and the Liturgy of the Hours. The zither, a gentle stringed
instrument, accompanies and supports our singing. Communal and
personal prayer give resonance to our day and as we move from prayer
to work to leisure and recreation.
We are blessed with beautiful grounds which
produce vegetables, hard and soft fruits – and wood for winter
fires! We engage in some desk-top publishing, craft work, card
production and icon mounting.
“The Consecrated life proclaims to the world the peace which comes from the Father, the dedication witnessed by the Son, and the joy which is the fruit of the Holy Spirit.”
John Paul II
